The Latest on Baby Zeke

So, to start things off, I want to show you a picture of my beautiful bride, Rachel, who just so happens to have just entered her ninth month of pregnancy (which means that our little baby is just about ready to make his grand entrance):

So since I can, let me just say that she is unbelievably gorgeous, isn’t she? I mean seriously. I guess I just got lucky, didn’t I?

Well, anyways, as luck would have it, Rachel and I had been looking over some old sonogram pictures, and it started becoming apparent that the pictures which caused our doctor to tell us that our son was in fact our son and not our daughter aren’t exactly crystal clear. So then, we decided to consult the evil medium that is Google, and when we searched for sonogram pictures of 20 week old boys and 20 week old girls, we found ourselves more confused than when we started.

Well, of course, the very next Google search we did was for “sonograms in Orlando” and of course, we came upone Look Who’s Kickin’, a commercial sonogram place in Sanford. So, I immediately called and explained our predicament (because, come on, we have a lot of blue stuff), and they made an appointment for the next day, which happened to be yesterday. So let me, without further ado, proclaim to the world, once and for all, it’s a boy!

And even cooler, we got a few 4D pictures of his face, so here’s one of them:

Now, don’t worry, I know it looks like he’s got a huge growth on his left eye, but it ends up that he’s inherited His mother’s dexterity, as that is actually one of his feet. While most of us can’t touch our toes with our hands, my son can apparently do so with his own face. I’m sure this will come in handy when he’s trying to impress all the girls at parties. But until then, it’s just a little weird. Anyways, we have one incredibly active, incredibly healthy baby BOY, and we’re looking at some 5 1/2 weeks until he’s scheduled to arrive. (And just in case you couldn’t tell, we can’t wait!)
