House Church Blogs
Ok, so I’ve found a few really interesting blogs and websites talking about a church movement that has been dubbed “organic church” or “simple church.” One of those sites that I have found particularly interesting is the House Church Blog (http://sojourner.typepad.com/house_church_blog/). The blog itself is very well organized in a way that is both though provoking and fairly non-confrontational. As I look more through the site, I will continue to post my thoughts.
On another note, I found a copy of a video that I was shown at a conference that Rachel and I were at last week that deals very much with these issues. Feel free to take a look and let me know your thoughts:

I love you! And I love the ideas your forming. I was looking online today at some church websites, and if I have to hear or read the phrase “do life together” or any other derivative of it…I might throw up.

Rachel, I love you too! By the way, you’re absolutely gorgeous in every way.
Honestly, the one I have a problem with is “Organic Church.” It’s already a bit overused and quite frankly, it just sounds sticky.
