Status…

Interesting… I’m sitting here listening to a recent podcast from the Status service at the Discovery Church in Orlando trying to get ideas for our new 20 somethings service, and I have a few thoughts…

I guess the biggest thing I’m noticing is that even though these people are “preaching” to a group of 800 people, they are treating it like a huge conversation with a few friends. I’m excited about this prospect. That’s pretty much always been my style anyways, so now I’m moving on to trying to figure out what issues are most presently hitting the generation that I’m trying to reach… I don’t know. Are they the same issues I’m dealing with? I don’t know. Much more thought needs to go into this.
